When emergencies happen and we need to use the parachute, we only have a few seconds for it to open properly and bring us safely to the ground. A badly folded parachute can delay the opening time and may not even open. For this reason, the parachute must be folded by professionals periodically.
 

Reasons why a parachute doesn't have a fast opening or open at all:

- Wet or damp parachute
- After more than 6 months repackaged, the parachute folds maintains the shape and becomes stiff

   and difficult to open.
- Damaged rubber bands
- Badly packed

The Emergency Parachute is our last option when all else fails, so in case we need to use it, we need it to work properly.

 

It must be repackaged every 6 months to prevent the parachute from maintaining the shape of the fold and to remove the moisture that is generated inside the container.
